Event Introduction:
本期华企午餐会将邀请北卡世界贸易协会会长, 北卡经济发展署国际贸易部总监以及北卡州港口管理局总监详细解析近年来北卡与中国的进出口贸易现状和对未来的展望。
北卡经济发展署国际贸易部总监Blake Jackman将依托第一手的国际贸易交易数据,为听众详细介绍北卡进出口中国相关商品的主要类型和发展趋势,北卡世界贸易协会会长Steve Posson以及港口管理局总监Aaron Botts将从国际货运和港口运输方面,为从事国际贸易和运输的业界人士提供更多货运与物流信息。
本次讲座欢迎所有对国际贸易,尤其是北卡对中国进出口贸易感兴趣的贸易和货运从业者参加。 届时会有多名北卡世贸协会的会员, 作为国际贸易与货运行业的代表一同参加本次午餐会,所有参加的听众在午餐会后可以同其他本地业界同行共同交流行业信息,拓展人脉。
Several international trade and transportation experts from North Carolina World Trade Association (NCWTA) will join NCCBA for a combi event, in which gurus in the international trade area will talk about international trade business between North Carolina and China_with first hand transaction data analysis to let audience know what commodities and products are in the trend of nowadays importing/exporting business between NC and China. Members who has an interest in today’s international trade market or is in the importing/exporting industry shall come to mingle with members from NCWTA, network with colleagues in the trade industry, and meet with gurus in the trade and transportation industry all around the state of North Carolina.
International Trade Manager from EDPNC will analyze international trade between North Carolina and China in details with first-hand transaction information. And director from North Carolina Ports will introduce the two major ports in the state, which greatly contributes the sea freight transportation for domestic and international freight business. President of NCWTA will introduce their association and members, who are leaders of the international trade and logistics industry, supporting world trade development for NC Business Community. .

Bio of Blake Jackman:

Blake Jackman is an International Trade Manager with Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina and he provides export counseling to his client base in the Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, and Outdoor industries. With 14 years of international business experience and he has participated in over 50 different Trade Missions, Trade Shows and conferences including speaking engagements, both nationally and internationally. Blake is the President of the North Carolina World Trade Association – Triangle Chapter and is on the board of the British-American Business Council Triangle Chapter. Blake came to EDPNC from Bass Industries Inc., where he was Vice President and in charge of operations, sales, and procurement. Blake’s previous experience includes working with North Carolina Department of Commerce International Trade Division, Ferrell Law’s International Private Equity Investment Division and for the Argentine-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Mandarin.

Bio of Steve Posson:


Graduated from University of Alabama, majoring in International Marketing in 1981, Mr. Posson was a transportation and logistic guru with more than 30 years of international and domestic transportation experiences. He is Experienced in global supply chain logistics, planning, business process improvement, and work successfully in high volume import, export, and domestic overland environment. He has served as sales managers at Panalpina Swiss Freight Forwarding Company for 19 years, and as senior account manager for Kuehne & Nagel German Freight Forwarder for 14 years. Currently, he serves at International Division NC HQ Logistics Company (EPES), and is the President State Board of North Carolina World Trade Association—supporting world trade development for NC Business Community.
