Ramya Vijapurapu graduated from NC State University’s Master of Microbial Biotechnology program in 2022 and has been working at the NC Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) since September 2022. As a Technology Commercialization Counselor at the SBTDC, Ramya specifically guides early-stage, innovation-based companies in understanding and applying for non-dilutive funding opportunities, including the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.

Ramya’s presentation topic will be: “Support for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses in North Carolina.” She will talk about how SBTDC helps startups and small businesses in NC area in these areas.
