President's Letter To NCCBA Members
Dear NCCBA Member and Friends,
Our organization, North Carolina Chinese Business Association (NCCBA), intends
to promote the common interests of our membership and the business community
by providing a forum for networking and exchange, and serving as a catalyst
in bridging the China and North Carolina business relationship. NCCBA depends
on volunteering effort of our members to make things happen. With your dedicated
effort, we have enjoyed significant growth in membership, and established ourselves
as a critical force in serving our communities.
In order to further execute effectively our strategies and serve the goals
and objectives, with receiving strong support from our board of trustees, I
have realigned and expanded our executive team effective immediately as listed
below. The detailed responsibilities for each position have been posted at
NCCBA member only website for your information.

VP of China Affairs - Lili Bovet, EVP, Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
VP of Corporate Affairs - Giles Shih, CEO, BioResources
VP of Marketing - Grace Ueng,
CEO, Savvy Marketing
VP of Operations - Tenney Woo
In addition, Grace Ueng has been appointed as Chairman of Board of Advisors,
to assist myself to establish an advisory board with inviting additional business
and community leaders from our region to provide critical counsel to our executive
team. I will keep you abreast on the progress on the subject.
I would like to thank all of you in making this organization stronger each
day, in particular, all of my colleges serving on the board, and all of you
volunteering in different capacities, without any reservations! We came a long
way and we are here to stay in this community. Our main goal in the next few
months are (1) continuing the momentum of building Marquee Speakers Series,
and our brand; (2) aggressively pursue corporate membership and sponsorship;
and (3) playing a stronger role in further helping NC businesses to establish
strong ties with the Chinese business community.
