| Chris Neal: "The Founding of BlueStripe, How to Build the Right Team,
Raise Capital and Listen to Voice of the Customer"
www.BlueStripe.com |
Presented by: Chris Neal, CEO of BlueStripe Software
Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: Hamner Institutes - 6 Davis Drive, RTP, NC 27709
On November 3rd, join us for an evening with Chris Neal, CEO of BlueStripe
Software!
Come hear first hand from Chris, who will share insights on how his founding
team is doing it again. He will share how he and his co-founders converged
on the Triangle to start BlueStripe, and what it takes to build the right team
that can deliver an effective solution to a technically-challenging problem.
Then you will learn how BlueStripe successfully raised capital from blue chip
venture firms in both the Bay Area and DC. Finally, Chris will share how they
listen to their customers, conduct concept reviews, perform user testing, leverage
a closed beta testing program, and then continue to iterate. The key to BlueStripe’s
success to date has been a singular focus on the needs of its target customers,
and the company’s ability to translate that focus, using a variety of
tools and methodologies, into a winning product.
Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Chris up close and personal and partake
of his entrepreneurial knowledge!
More Information on BlueStripe:
BlueStripe Software is driving change in the application monitoring and management
market by delivering groundbreaking technology that provides a new perspective
on managing important business applications. The company faced a significant
challenge in developing a product that could translate its unique data on
application structure and performance into an intuitive, workflow-driven
user interface that is accessible to a broad set of users and not just to
experts.
To tackle this challenge, BlueStripe developed the vision for a major release
of its FactFinder offering through a combined approach of customer-driven concept
development. BlueStripe’s product management team, working in tandem
with the company’s newly hired user interaction designer, began with
a detailed study of its target users, their needs and challenges in the context
of their role, and a detailed set of tasks they would need to perform successfully
with the product. www.bluestripe.com
